how to remove torx bolts?

Default how to remove torx bolts?

im switching my front springs and coils, but ran into a problem. how do i take the torx bolts that are holding front drvr side shock. the bolts with nuts are exposed easy to get to, but the other two have torx with master cylinder in the way. help please!

i took the resevor off my master. pb blaster is your friend on those.

Just pull the two nuts off of the brake booster that hold the master cylinder on. Gently pull it forward until you can tilt it towards the engine. Remove bolts.

After reinstalling the bolts (once you put the shocks back in), just pull the MC forward slightly, straighten it out and it will ease back into place. Reinstall nuts to hold it to the brake booster and you're done.

While they are off, swap the bolts from the other side to the drivers side so you don't have to do that again (thank Mitchntx for that one), or just swap them with a spare set like I did and get rid of them completely.
