car leans
Hey guys. Ive notcied that my car leans to the right. I have a 99 cmamro w/ 125K miles and my right side of my car sits about a 1-1.5 in. lower than my left. A buddy told me alot of F-Bodies do this.
Do alot of F-Bodies do this?
What could casue this?
What should I look for?
Thanks guys
P.S. stock suspension. except for LCA's and panhard bar.

i had that problem when i first bought my car. it had 107k on it. i heard different stories from everyone includin that the frame of the car was messed up. that kind of made me worry. so i went ahead and changed the shocks and springs. it turns out the previous owner b4 jumped a curb and messed up shocks/springs pretty badly. after changing shocks/springs the lean is not as noticable, and it is not as bad as before, but its still slightly there. maybe .5 inches diff. not to worried about it. the shocks were all original shocks.

My car is the opposite.
My dirvers side sits lower by about 1 in (in the back only) than the passenger side.
My car has hit a curb in the rear on the drivers side.
I think that my lower spring perch on the drivers side was installed incorrectly, or at the wrong angle, and thus makes the perch sit lower.
Any help on how to reference where the lower spring perch should be located? (ex: 1.75 in off ground).

Will do, Thanks for the advice.
If it still leans, are the spring perches supposed to be parallel to each other; in other words, are they both at the same height off the ground?

Awesome, that is what I figured.
If it is a perch problem, is there a specific angle that the axle tube needs to be inserted in the pumpkin?
Is was thinking I could always just do the hose mod on the higher side to bring it more even.
Would it be a problem if one side had the stock insulator and one side was the hose mod?
Also I heard, here on LS1Tech, that aligning the springs might help. I tried to align the pigtails(end of the spring) to the rear of the car when I put my Koni's on about a month ago(this problem was there beforce I changed the shocks, it has had this problem for 3 years, since my brother ran it sideways into a curb).
Sorry for the long post. Just trying to get things sorted on my car.

All cars have have some degree of offset in height. Critical that measurements are taken at the drip edge to ground. Also critical that the ground is level and even for proper measurements AND make sure that if vehicle is lowered, neg./pos. chamber has to be properly adjusted. Any dimension off by more than 1/2" might include damage to frame/suspension.

My problem is either the spring or shock. Last night I was driving and my fender (still right side) started grinding into my tires at every little bump. Now the tire is torn to shreds and my fender is cracked. Son of a B!TCH

What is drip edge? My vehicle is stock ride height.
I thought the shop would have fixed the frame. They had it on a frame machine for about a week.

I think Strano mentioned something once about a car being tilted like this and that everything was ok with it and you couldn't fix it. Not sure. Maybe the poster should PM him to refer his knowledge to this thread.

My car does this as well. I emailed Strano about getting a spring/shock set-up to fix this and replace the stock stuff. Hopefully all is fixed once I hear back from him and get a new set-up. Currently on flat and level ground my measurements from ground to top of fender arch are as follows:
Driver front: 27in
Passenger Front: 26 1/2 in
Driver rear: 27 1/2 in
Passneger rear: 26 3/4 in
