There has been so much discussion re: shocks recently that I figure no one wants to respond, including me.
See, it depends on what you want your car to do, or become...
FWIW, Monroe Sensatracks are similar in performance to the factory DeCarbon's, so if you like the ride with the DeCarbon's then you'll like the Monroe's...
personally I think they are garbage.
How's that?
If you want more responses then you need to give us more information regarding what is the desired end-result that you want with your car...
Do you want a great handler?
Do you want a 1/4 miler?
You can't have both, as the suspension setups are WAY different...
That being said, sounds like you want cheap, so go cheap.
If you want a GREAt handler, then you will be paying more $$$ for great shocks.
Bilstein HD's are FAR better than the Monroe's, but only if you have factory springs. If you DO have factory springs, then the HD's are a much better choice...
your car will NOT be feeling like you're on clouds any longer, as the Bilstein's are a bit more responsive(read stiffer) than the factory shocks that you have now.
If you want to speak to someone, then call Sam Strano, he is the suspension guru of our f-bodies.

He'll be asking you a LOT of questions, so expect to spend time on the phone.

Those words should be banned from this forum...........just save your money and use what you have on the car for now...........at the very least save your money and buy Bilsteins............the best are the Konis.
