Default piston, one in, one out

So after having a huge pain with the guide pins, I put pressure on only one piston on the front caliper to depress it, it went quickly all the way down, while the other is now sticking all the way out.
Ive tried putting a c-clamp on it, but it doesn't seem to want to budge.

what do I need to do to depress it?

Thanks

JD

Did you try taking the cap of the master cylinder?

Also, use an old pad as a 'buffer' when pushing the pistons back in. You have to move both pistons at the same time. Also, you have to move the pistons back slowly and a little bit at a time. They will not depress quickly.

Yes I realised that, but Im wondering how to even them out now.

Yes, I was doing all the brakes, so I had to remove some fluid so it wouldn't overflow. Cap was off.

Well, I was able to move the pistons by hand so I dont know. Maybe try pushing that one in, the other one should start to pop out. Then push them both in using the old brake pad.

Hmm, maybe try putting it over the rotor, and pressing the brake pedal. Maybe one just stuck on the bottom. Good luck.
