Bilstein HD's won't control any of those springs. Not trying to be a smart *** but HD's are not designed to handle lowering springs.

Personally I would only use HD's for stock springs.

HD's are not meant for lowering springs, best suited for stock springs.

They are not designed for lowering springs. None would be a good match.

Were what? Intended as shocks for lowering spring? Whoever told you that was either lying or ignorant. That includes anyone @ Bilstein it happened to be someone there.

then im assuming that this kit from thunderracing is NOT the hd shocks
133-BTS-7501 Bilstein Suspension Kit, 1993-02 F-Body
Includes 4 Matched Shocks and Springs. Lowers vehicle approximately 1 inch.

only reason i asked about the HD ones is because i need a adj panhard bar and LCA relocation brackets. and it would be cheeper if i bought the set of HD shocks and the lowering package that consists of springs,PHB,and relocation brackets.
cheeper than buying the kit (133-BTS-7501) and the other stuff seperate.

thanks for the help..

That kit sucks. Shocks are NOT matched, it's a gimmick that sadly Bilstien is behind. I can sell that kit too.... and I NEVER do because it's not very good. If Bilstein made a Sport valved shock (one for springs), how come they don't sell it? It's because they don't....

I do, but nothing on it will help you understand this stuff. Best to call me if I want to know details. Looking at my site is no different than any other for information....

If things were only that simple. They are not. A little research goes a long way, and FWIW relying solely on things you find on the internet (both parts and opinions) isn't a good plan. I've had to fix way too many mistakes made that way.
