Default shocks for a 1" drop

did a search, yada yada yada, didn't find anything helpful

I'm getting the BRM sp01 springs cuz i'm only gonna drop 1".

I want to get some affordable shocks that are a good match for these springs. What do you recommend? Also, i heard the KYB shocks are crap and to stay away from them.

Koni is the cheapest adequate shock. Revalves will save you a little over konis but then you don't have the option of adjusting them.

Consider also using the koni lower perch and hose mod for about 3/4 to sometimes 1 inch drop without having to buy springs and live with harsher spring rates.

For what it is no, and comparing his prices to other places on same parts it's quite good.

I've had no problem at all paying a few bucks (and I mean just a few dollars) more with Sam for the simple fact that his customer service well makes up for it.

It's not necessarily the amount of drop the springs give when choosing appropriate shocks, but rather the spring rates that you should be concerned with

BMR's are progressive so an adjustable shock (Koni) would be your best bet

Shocks are easily one of the most important parts of your vehicle. They control everything about the way it rides handles and even stops. You probably paid several thousands of dollars for your vehicle and you can't cough up 500 bucks for good shocks.... that doesn't make much sense really.

Yes you can use cheaper shocks but they'll wear out instantly and you'll be bouncing along hating your car because it rides like pooh
