Minimized the squeaks, creaks, and rattles ... firmed up the car. I have the weld-ins.

if you do happen to like them, take the car somewhere and have them welded in permanently and be done with it. there's nothing that prevents bolt-on SFC's from being welded, it's all metal....
This was my thinking. I went with the bolt-ins so I could install them in my garage and then take to a shop and have them welded in.

I went with UMI 3pt SFCs and a Wolfe 6pt bolt-in rollbar. The SFCs might be extra weight, but a 6pt doesn't compare to a 10pt in terms of stiffening up the chassis, so I went with both. The extra 30lbs won't kill me, and I'd like to do all I can to prevent twisting anything dumping the clutch on a 150shot on ET Streets I like that the LCA mount area ("torque box" on a mustang) is also reinforced by the SFCs.

I also have Koni SA shocks and just ordered a set of Strano springs.

They'll make your car ride harsher as the car's unibody can't flex and absorb impact with them welded on. After the install, the only thing absorbing impact is the suspension and your kidneys. It's certainly worth it, but will provide a slightly harsher ride.

Thats true...I did just that...took them off and sold them.
I thaught ride quality was reduced.

There are very different opinions on this issue but little fact.
So here R 2 absolute facts about SFCs:
1. They make your car heavier.
2. They make your wallet/bank account smaller (lighter).

My .02--->spend your $ elsewhere.
Like quality shocks as earlier stated.
