Default replacing tie rods....

hard or easy? anything i should know off hand? i know i gotta get a alignment after, but what else?

Try to get them close to where the old ones were. The closer they are, the easier/safer it will be to drive to the alignment shop.

You can use electrical tape to mark how far on the tie rod was. Count threads as well Pretty straightforward swap.
