weld in SFC problem...
weld in SFC problem... I rencently installed a set of 2 point weld-in umi subframe connectors on my 2000 SS. (which are an excellent product btw)
since then the car has developed a new noise
it sounds almost like a cracking where the sail panel is. i know fbodies arent quiet by anymeans but this noise wasnt there stock, and sfc's are supposed to reduce noises/creaks.
i double checked the bolt connecting through the LCA and it is perfectly tight.
im thinking either the welds are weak causing some shifting of the SFC or maybe they are making the frame too rigid, causing other parts of the car to flex.
anyone with some help would be appreciated
