newbie...front suspension clunk help!
ok, just bought my 02 Z today and it has a clunk when you go over decent bumps. It does this at speeds above 25 but it takes a decent bump to cause it. I put it up on a rack and there isn't any ball joint movement and the sway bar links don't look bad, but the right front shock is leaking. Will this cause a clunk or am I looking at struts or control arm bushings too? I really don't have a ton of money to throw at this.

sure it is coming from the front? could easily be a lower rear control arm, and resonate under the car make sure all rear is tight first., also you could have a bad lower strut bushing and when you hit a big bump the lower rod mount blasts the lower front arm. There is really not much else that would make that noise if you checked the ball joints
