what would be a great shock combo for those springs for a nice smooth cadillac ride?

Those are nowhere near where a Sportline drop is. BTW, Speed--you did put the plastic indexing spacers back on the front shocks between the perch and the spring, didn't you?

Cadillac rides are for Caddy's, not for Sports Cars. The ride would improve with better springs and shocks, but is not butter smooth (and shouldn't be).

Yep re-used all the stock hardware.

Alright here are the heights
RF 25 3/4 LF 25 3/4
RR 27 3/8 LR 26 15/16

Any idea why the back is almost 1/2" higher on one side than the other? I made sure to put the springs no the rear isolators the right way and indexed right.

You're about 1/4" lower in the front than most respondants, but certainly not Sportline territory.

The rear, these cars never sit 100% level anyway. But here are somethings to check. Make sure that both spring are seated in the isolator completely, and that the isolator is seated properly on in the spring pocket. Make sure both are oriented the same way (ie, that one pigtail isn't turned to the front, the other to the back or in some way different).

If all those check out, it's the car. You can swap springs and it'll sit the same way...

The Iron block probably puts more weight over the front than the LS1's, atleast thats my guess. Even if the car is lighter it probably has more front weight bias. I'll look into the back, and I'm not blaming your springs I know its either my car or something I messed up on the install.

Sam

Correct me if I'm wrong but you don't have any relocation brackets for the LCA's right?

I don't follow... I sell them, but I don't have any on my car (no need, and not legal for my class anyway).

Some folks have them, some don't... situations vary.

Sam - I want my car to sit exactly how it is in those pictures. What springs are those and what is a good set of shocks for them? I'm ready to order some new ones. My ride is terribly uncomfortable.

My car was 150 lbs lighter than my dads 00 WS6 on the same scale, same day. Do you know if the wieght distribution is the same between the LT1's and LS1's? I would think LT1's would have more nose weight from the iron block and aluminum intake manifold. My car has always sat kind of low in the front compared to other cars though so who knows.

I daily drive on 315 555R's. I can't imagine how bad it would be with street tires.
