Default Prokits and aftermarket shock replacements - Can I get away with it?

I've got the sportlines on stock aftermarket replacement shocks (i think they're bilsteins, i dunno but they were really cheap when i got them) and the ride is gross. the shocks must have blown out or something bc of the springs. so i got the prokits and am going to put them on this week and was wondering if the ride would be drastically improved if i got some new stock replacement shocks to match the prokits? i plan on getting some strano shocks but thats going to cost around $700+ and just want something to get by for now without a bad ride.

so who's got prokits on stock shocks? do you bottom out a lot like sportlines, or even feel every little bump in the road?
