will i still have 50/50 braking if i get rid of my ABS?
ok well i am about to order my 9"er and i have future plans for a custom turbo kit that will require removal of my ABS unit in order to fit easily so will my braking suck if i get rid of ABS? can i still have 50/50 braking? i know ABS is great for emergencies but do you really need it if you autocross? im set for street and want to stay that way i just want to know how much of a difference will i see in my braking performance if i got rid of ABS?

Your 2002's brake proportioning is electronically controlled by the ABS system. You'll need to replace the electronic proportioning mechanism with a regular proportioning valve and experiment to find the right setting.
Also, the braking is not biased 50/50. The front does more braking than the rear. If I remember correctly, its closer to 60/40 or 70/30.

I installed a proportional valve to bias the braking front to rear. You want the front and rear to lockup at the same time. If not and you lock one or the other in a turn, you could spin out.
