The problem with this is that there are so many threads on this topic, and none which have a good diffinitive answer as to whether or not SFCs are a good thing. I have a set of SLP weld in SFCs sitting in my basement waiting to go in, and I don't know if I should do it or not. Reading threads that have a 50/50 spit as to whether or not they are a good thing makes me hesitate.

True...there is no diffinative answer-period. Just alot of opinion. It would be nice to see some scientific testing on SFCs.

Uh as in those who used common sense, followed the instructions, etc?

My suspension was loaded, as in all the weight on the wheels, when I welded them in.
I'm not some jackass that took my car to a muffler shop to have them installed.

No question about it, you have to do this if you plan on putting any power into your fbody. There is so much chasis flex in our vehicles it would be stupid not to have SFC, especially those with T-Tops. I have the double diamond weld ins, and am so happy I got them. You will not regret it if you do it correctly. Don't cheap out and get bolt ups, it's definitely worth it to get the weld ins.
