one more shock/strut question
I searched and I know everyone says Koni...this car is daily driven and I really don't do much with it other than 3-4 autocross events a year.
YOU MUST PICK BETWEEN THESE TWO THAT I HAVE LISTED!
1. standard Bilstein HDs 349 shipped
2. WS6 store.com's SLP Bilsteins for $408 shipped
what's the big difference here? I am 95% sure I won't ever lower my car. Which ones do I buy....I need to order them soon, as the car rides like crap now and I don't want to damage anything else, so I gotta fix this quick.
Thanks in advance!
I sell a set of HD's for $349 (not shipped, figure $375 worst case), but I use a valving in the rear shock that isn't completely messed up and DeCarbon like. That's right, Bilstein for some amazing reason saw fit to take a very workable damper for stock springs in a lot of cases, throw away it's specs and build a shock much more like a stock DeCarbon. I will NOT use that shock. When I sell HD's, I use a older, better valving. Same price, better damper.
