Default So if I plan to lower my Firehawk..

Do all my chasis/suspension pieces need to be adjustable? I know the Panhard Rod needs to be, but what about LCA's, and TA's?

and anything else for that matter...



Basically I am trying to plan ahead, I wont be lowering the car for a long while, but I might as well get the right pieces so I don't have to go back and purchase all new parts.

The panhard bar like you mentioned is probably the only must have adjustable suspension piece you need . I do recommend using an adjustable torque arm if you are looking to try to get the most out of your setup. If you have any other questions feel free to ask

the adjustable lower control arms from what i have seen are more practical in autocross, but also benefit in straight line, the adjustment allows you to adjust the angle of the rear axle to accomodate torque load and how much downward force is placed on the rear axle to keep the tires planted

The adjustable LCA's are nice as well for a handling setup since they are offered in a poly/rod combo, which still allows articulation which you need in a road racing or Auto-X setup. A static poly/poly LCA is good for drag racing, but binds a lot which hurts handling.
