Smile My new brakes!! (pics)

Finally got all my new rotors and pads in from the WS6store.com, i got there 4 d/s rotors and hawk hps pads, then i painted the calipers black to match the car and the brackets a silvery color. then i added the camaro SS decals that came in a day after thats why the car is dirty. Sorry for the dirty car and not so high quality pics. but i am very happy with this install, no squeaks, no fade, feels great and looks the same.

I just ordered my rotors and pads today. How hard was it to change them out and how long did it take?

Jason. install is pretty easy. make sure you lube the slider pins. I had one on my car that was seized up and didnt realize till i went to change my pads. Try installuniversity.com great and easy write-up

they work great, install went well, just 1) take off wheels 2) unbolt two bolts on the back of the caliper holding it to the bracket, make sure to use an open end to hold the other side, 3) unbolt bracket 4) remover retainer nut from stud then pull off rotor

the new pads are great, my old rotors were warped to hell, and the new ones are great stops better then I would have ever thought, overall im really happy

make sure to whipe down the rotors with brake cleaner or dawn and water, and grease the slider pins and i used BG stuff on the pads and let that soak into them for a day and also sand down the hub part a little so the rotor sits well (if you have surface rust)

and check all ur suspension parts while its on jack stands too. also make sure not to get brake cleaner on any painted parts. ....i got some on my koni's and it made some of the paint come off like water, so now im gonna sand it down and painte it that color again as soon as i get time.

are they smaller then stock??, looks like a drag rim would fit alot better over the caliper.
