2 quarts is a good amount if your doing a full flush. You definitely shouldn't run out unless you are flushing fluid in excess. 1 quart would be cutting it kind of close so it's good to have an extra. If you don't end up opening the 2nd bottle, you can use it another time.
Though I don't know if I would use the other half of fluid from the canister if I were doing a flush or bleed in the future since it was already exposed to air.
