Mine does it too. After reading all the posts, I think it's something we will all have to live with. I was considering putting skinnies on the front, but have changed my mind. Our roads here in Clearwater, FL are not too bad. The wandering does get aggrevating, but I will put up with it. My tires are wearing evenly so I'm not going to worry about it. I know these Kumhos are not the best in the world but they served their purpose. Now it's time to setup to the pump and get some GS-D3's w/ 315s in the back. I'm going to try some suspension goodies to maybe help. I'll keep everyone posted on my progress. Best of luck to all.

I have put one piece at a time on my car from STB, to sway brs, Konis, lowering springs, back to stock springs, different alignments. The car wanders no matter what. I recently put my stock 245s back on and it is much more liveable. I am going to put the 275s back on and Im sure it will get much worse. As people have said before wider tires make it worse and our cars tend to wander. Theres nothing wrong with the car I dont think anything will help except skinnier front tires!

this finally answers my question about why my car jumps around at high speed.

the answer?!....SLOW DOWN hahah! as if. mine only does this at high speeds on the freeway where the big trucks drive.

is this something that having a solid rear axle creates or would a car with IRS do this too?

hmm...^^^not sure.. but i do have another question. when i go to slow down and stop anywhere my steering wheel wants to pull very hard towards the left! it's crazy. that's the only thing that my car does that bothers me to in extent. i just let it be cuz it hasn't caused any major problems. any ideals why it does this tho.

My Camaro used to do that a lot also, but since I've put GM cross drilled and slotted rotors on it, it has stopped unless I'm going fairly fast.

Up until that last sentence, I was thinking "bad shocks" but there is a difference between high speed instability and crappy roads

Caster effects steering so much, that the side with the least positive caster will tend to pull the car in that direction. so crank up that caster guys, and maybe it'll cut back on the wandering. maybe the factory recommended specs just arent enough.

also i might add, if both wheels are toed in a little it might keep the car straight, but it'll eat the hell out of the tires due to scrubbing...

am i wrong?
Mine wanders too... makes it hard to drive with your knees
Anyways, I've heard that a good example of camber is the front wheels of a shopping cart... would that be positive or negative camber?

My previous car was a '98 Cadillac Seville. So, when I jumped in the Camaro I noticed it wandering right way. I now have to hold on to the wheel like I'm doing 100mph. I could drive with one finger, change cd's, and talk on the cell in the Cadillac at 100 mph. Now, I can barely keep the Camaro on the road at 55mph doing nothing. Trade off I guess. But, I still enjoy the car. Just had the front end aligned and that helped some. It was really bad before that.

Mine does it too. I thinks it's riding the ruts on the road. I get it bad on the inside lane of the motorway (highway/freeway) where the lorries (trucks) have worn grooves, sometimes very visible. I don't notice it with my Cherokee or Tahoe, but does it with the '86 T/A and is even more noticeable in the 2001 WS6 and yes really have to fight it sometimes !!!

glad to see i wasnt the only one. i bought my TA brand new, and since day one, she pulls to the left on the highway. i brought it back to the dealer twice within the first month for alignments....still the same thing. the head guy said 'its just what they do, i cant fix it'. i recently did the entire suspension......koni SAs and strano springs. still pulled to the left. went to the alignment shop for a performance alignment (found out there was NO adjustment you can do other then toe), and it STILL pulls to the left. when i put the new rims/tires on, ill have to see if she pulls then too.
