v6 front shocks

are these the same decarbons used on the ls1 cars? v6 shocks would be off a 2000 camaro.

The front shocks are different than the v8's. They are decarbons, but are built for the different v6 spring rates.

how sure are you on this? I've heard they are the same from people and this has been the only response saying they're different. I trust you.

I Camaro is a v6 and I ASSURE you they are different. Let me try to dig up the page that proves I'm right...

I can't seem to find it, but I worked for Chevy in the parts department and I remember the v6 shocks being a different number than the v8s.

Replacement shocks are the exact same part number for a '98 Z28 and a '99 V6 car according to parts store websites. Like I said originally, they'll swap over fine
