Default What are the symtoms of shocks/springs that need replacing???

My car has always bottomed out when lauching hard. Recently though since I replaced my rear end with a 9 inch ford it seems to bottom out a lot more. When driving over small bumps the car hits the rear end so I'm thinking that it might be my factory shocks since I've never replaced them. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks Andy

Yeah the 9 inch rear end is a lot heavier than what you had before (10 bolt?). That just adds that much more weight for the stock springs and shocks try and stop. Specific applications like this, talk to Sam. He's helped lots of people setup their suspension who've had 9 inch rear ends.
