Just recieved my strange front brakes and inventoried everything and read the instructions. What is the best and easiest tool to use to cut the ears off of the spindles? I have a small cutoff wheel but just curious as to what everyone else has used.

lol....I used a hack saw with a quality metal blade.

 

I've never done it, but something like an angle grinder with one hell of a cut off wheel sounds like it would work pretty well.

 

what kinda car they going on??and where did you purchase them from?

 

Used a Port-a-Band band saw on mine....

I used a sawzall and a dremel to clean it all up, worked well for me

Super Z--- they are going on a 95 Formula and i got them from SJM.

 

Used a hacksaw when I did my C4HD swap on my thirdgen. On my '98, I'm going to use a sawzall with an aggressive metal blade.
