Default Sam Strano - ready to dig into the new 2009 Camaro?

I can't wait to see the first cars with dropped suspension, aftermarket springs, shocks, wheels. The show car is gorgeous but the wheel/fender gap is so small, no way does it make it to production like that. Sam, I'm hoping you'll be putting your skills to work making a nice balanced setup for us guys looking for something more than stock!!!

I was just thinking last night "I wonder if I can get Konis on my 2009 when I get it"...

I'ts a little ways off, and I certainly won't be seeing any pre-production cars to work on. I'm sure as time goes by there will be all kinds of parts, and just like now some good, some not. And I have no doubt Koni will make shocks, but seeing how it's now mid-2007 and they still haven't released shocks for the "new" Mustang, I can't imagine how long that might take.

How long did it take them to get shocks for the 1993 and 1998 Camaros (if they were different; I imagine they are since they use different spindles).

The shocks are all the same for those, and I don't recall. I was 20 years old when the '93's came out and in college--wasn't really paying attention.

Kinda early to be thinking about that!
