Done! Here a couple of offset plates: they will be fixed on the frame using conical allen bolts, right in the original holes where the U-Brackets are normally bolted.
The U-Brackets will then be fixed on the studs by nuts
Each U-Bracket is now 20 mm away from the respective wheel (3/4").
Right there where the bar is straight.
Problem solved.
