Default Are HAL's 12way shocks good for cornering?

I want to buy them because they are good for drag racing. They can also be set softer than stock which is great for everyday driving but how do they compare with others in the cornering arena? I am taking the Eibach sportline springs out and going back to stock. I also considered a 1 inch spring from BMR. They are 100 lbs stronger than stock but I fear a bad ride. Will the HALS do well racing on the street?

Thanks

The hals are great for the street, I love them, and when you want to drag race, just loosen up the front wants, its nice to be able to adjust each shock all around the car....I'm running the coil overs in the front and the stock V8 springs in the rear...
