Default Thumping/banging sounds

Any of you guys with aftermarket torque arms that are not mounted to the tailshaft notice any new noises after replacing the stock one? I'm running a Spohn torque arm I bought used from a friend and when it was installed I drove around and noticed the driveshaft loop was coming in contact with the weight on the driveshaft. It was pretty late so we ended up bending the driveshaft loop mount up a little to clear the weight on the driveshaft. Drove a bit and floored it a few times and didn't hear the original noise.

Now when I'm driving around I hear thumping and banging pretty frequently even when not driving over big bumps. It doesn't sound like the same noise I first heard from the driveshaft contacting the loop. Could it be the transmission moving around or something? The tranny mount is new but maybe it still has too much play which is causing it to hit the underbody.
