check with a local scrapyard or machine shop, they should be able to point you in the right direction.

If you haven't already, try taking the driveway at an angle instead of straight on.

I do need a metal plate though. I can get up the driveway but its a pain in the azz!

Try lowes or home depot. they have a steel section.

How about laying down a length of pipe and using concrete over it instead. Cheaper than steel.
