2001 WS6 springs Vs. 99 TA springs
I guess what I would really like to know is how manny different springs were there? And whats the difference in ride heights? My brother-in-laws 98 WS6 is stock and the ride height is 3/4" lower all the way around. I have seen other WS6 cars that look like they are the same ride height as my car though. Also can you tell by looking at a front spring with the shock in if its a WS6 or not? I couldn't find anything in the search.

I got this part number off the top of one of my stock springs (1998 WS6)
(photo flipped and contrast enhanced to make out part number)
And yes I sometimes think later WS6 springs made the car sit higher, for some reason.

The early cars `98-`00 had stiffer 1LE springs. When GM discontinued the 1LE package after `00 all the cars recieved the same springs. So the `01-02 WS6's have the same springs as the standard Formula and Trans Am.
