ahhh ok..... ill check tommorrow.

i did notice that after the install on the driver side it is about the same clearance, ill check the pass side tommorrow.

Thanks for the write up. I got quoted at $800 for the install and after seeing this thread decided I could do it myself.

About halfway through, k member and mounts off, just waiting till tomorrow to install the poly mounts. A/C unit is a snap to take out, only 6 or so bolts, and you can hang it off the engine with some coat hangers.

I did run into a snag with the steering rack. I notice I could pull it out of the stock k member with the way it was designed. I pulled off the return and feed line and unbolted the steering column thingy and took the k down with the rack still installed. Came out easy after that.
