Default Rear C5 brakes

Ok I just did the front C5 brake conversion kit from WS6 Store on my Trans Am and am very happy with it. UMI brackets, cutting the spindles, all is good. What about the rear? Can I put Corvette rotors and calipers on the rear and what is involved in the conversion for the rear?

The rear Corvette Calipers are pretty much exactly the same. Only difference is that it is pressure-casted instead of gravity-casted and I think the offset of the caliper to fit the Corvette rear rotor.

Even the Dick Harrell Camaro uses only the front Corvette calipers with stock rears. 'Nuff said.

From what I've read about swapping to Corvette rear brakes is that it's not worth the effort. I would just upgrade the rear pads and let it eat.

You can just replace the calipers and keep the brackets, pads and rotors you already have. If you want to use the C6 rotors to boot PM me and I will give you info I received from a non sponsor as to what you will need.

Thanks, I might not do anything about the rears but I was thinking of the Corvette calipers just for the appearance factor. Thanks for the info guys.
