groaning/grinding from rear

Default groaning/grinding from rear

when i hit the brakes pretty good today i noticed that theres a grinding noise. its happened before when i did a couple burnouts and brake stood it. warped rotors could cause this?

Not likely. Pull the wheels and take a look at your pads.

well the rotors have heat cracks on them.

ill take a look at the pads tomorrow.

pads have normal wear on them. they are about 2 years old with hardly any miles on them.

im starting to think the rotors are the culprit.
