Im trying to decide which sub-frame connectors to go with, but this is becoming a pain because I cant decide. I like the Hotchkis ones because they tuck up in there nice without hanging too low and can hardly tell that theyre there, but I dont like the fact that they dont come in red. I dont want to have to take them to get powdercoated because it going to cost me more money. I do like the BMR ones but the boxed version hangs a bit low. Then the tubulars dont hang low, but arent as strong and wont stiffen as good as a boxed one would. Let me know what kind youre running and please post a pic, thanks.

I know you're looking for the weld-on type but I would recommend the SLP or www.spectaclesolutions.net bolt-on sfc. Yes they hang down a little but they blend into the car just fine, I don't want to get into any details but my friends bolt-on sfc saved him big time.

I appreciate your offer, but really...Im looking into getting weld in. Is there any reason why you are recommending me bolt in? How did they save your friend? I dont want them to hang low, thats the problem that Im having now along with the weight! Im looking for pics with weld in Hotchkis SFCs and BMR tubular and boxed SFCs. Thanks

MacGyver,
Is that the stock Y-Pipe or and aftermarket one? I am also interested in how low SFCs hang.

Thanks, that makes a differnce when comparing how low it hangs. From the look of it, it shouldn't hang much lower than the stock y-pipe.
