Default I hear a "pop" when speeding up/slowing down

Lately I'm hearing and feeling a pop under the car whenever I take off from a stop or come to a stop with the brakes? Seems like it's coming from right under the trans tunnel. Could this be the torque arm? I've still got the stock one on there with a poly bushing. Maybe it needs to be greased?

Id take a look at the transmission mount as well. It could be related to either one. GOod luck!

As said above I'd check the tranny mount. They'll clunk when they break.

I have the same thing. It's so annoying. It was happening with my stock tranny mount as well as with my poly tranny mount. So I don't think it's the mount. I can't think of anything that's loose and can cause this noise.

Well the noise seems to be gone. I pulled off the trq. arm bushing today and greased it. I also tightened the rear bolts on the trq. arm. Then I decided to install a poly trans mount I had lying around. I installed it without the plate that comes with it and haven't noticed a lot more noise/vibration. Seems to shift a lot better now.
