Default Bushings that don't need greasing?

I am planning some suspension upgrades and will be using some poly bushings. I am wondering if all poly bushings need to be greased or are there susp. components that use bushings that don't need to be greased? I am planning new LCA's (probably poly-rubber combo), TA maybe and adj. panhard bar.

Grease is a good thing, many items on your vehicle now require grease to operate correctly. Grease will not only help the performance of the item but it also prolongs the life the items.

We supply our poly bushings with grease fittings. You could run them with out grease if you wanted but they may squeak and wear quicker. The grease prolongs the bushing life.

If you have any questions please ask.

Thank you!

Thanks for the response! I realize that grease is a good thing but I don't usually have much time to get under the car and grease the bushings. I was just wondering if there are some that are sealed that don't require greasing? I realize these would probably start to squeak sooner. I am a suspension newb so what is meant by "grease fittings"? Thanks again for your help!

Most products that need grease are supplied with grease fittings to make it easy. We always recommend to grease them every time you chage your oil or every 3-5,000 miles. For some that is only 1-2 times a year.

Hope that helps!

Rod ends are supposed to be self-lubricating i believe.

Yes the rod ends we supply are self lubricating. However we do recommend a spry similar to this to pretect them from rusting- www.umiperformance.com/3009

True, almost all are, but I have seen some with zerk fittings for grease. I would be wary of this because of fear of weakening the structure of the rod end's body due to stress risers (sort of the way greaseable u joints are weaker than solid ones in a driveshaft application).

Cool I guessed something that was actually legit! YAY!

Get some good rod ends and they are pretty much maintenance free. Just some kind of WD-40 every now and then and you're golden.

Stupid Question: How do you go about greasing your bushings?
