Just had ATE rotors + HAWK HPS pads installed
used valvoline synthetic brake fluid to flush and refill the system.
Breaking is excellent. Really is night and day.
Cost breakdown:
ATE Premium One rotors set of 4 (2 front/ 2 rear) $354 shipped to my door from www.stranoparts.com
Hawk HPS pads bought off ebay through WS6STORE.COM ebay store $139 to my door
2 liters of valvoline full synthetic $10-11 bucks at autozone
4 packets of antibrake squeel lube $4 bucks at autozone
labor for chevy dealer to install $257 (includes left rear caliper replacement as mine was shot $33.00)
i wouldve installed everything myself but had no place to do so nor had time

how do you know they have spread? like does it drive a certain way? or did you take the wheels off and check them out? how much of a difference do you think there is in ATE superblue and valvoline full synthetic?

The pads aren't coming into contact with the inner half inch or so portion of the rotor right now and the wear of the old pads was tapered slightly.
I've never used valvoline brake fluid, so I don't really have any foundation for comparison, but I'd imagine neither of us would be able to really tell any difference between the two.
I'll try to get some pics of the rotors this weekend to post up.

I found all this on the web and nothing is guaranteed to be correct.
Wet boiling point is measured at 3.5% moisture, typical for one-year-old fluid.
AP600 is not compatibile with any other fluid.
Ford HD DOT3 is cheap and good for racing but has a low wet boiling point.
ATE Type 200/Super Blue is recommended by BMW.
ATE SL is OE on many European performance cars.
