hooking on the street..

hooking on the street.. my car usually hooks well on the street from a dig\10mph roll..well ever sence its got cold it doesnt want to hook at all in first and its causing my to bump the limiter on the 1-2 shift and 2-3 shift and almost cost me a race lastnight..my susp. setup is cheap yes but works when warm...but i want to make it better so i can hook better from a stop im runnin 315 bfg drags that i guess doesnt like cold weather..ive tried different pressures and with different burnouts and nothing helps...would a trq arm help me on the street?my car is lowered with DMS springs with lower control arms and LCA relocation brackets..ive got a ss3600 and 3.73.
i just want this thing to hook better cuz most of the time i race faster cars than mine just me hooking from a dig\low roll is the only advantage ive got.. please let me know what i can do to help this out thanx...and remember this is on a tight buget hahaha...thanx in advace
