Default Shaving off sides of Spohn Drag bar?

I am using a Spohn rear drag bar, Moser 12 bolt, and Strange adjustable shocks. The drag bar is touching the sides of the shocks. This wasn't happening with the stock shocks. Can I slightly shave off the sides of the drag bar? Would its strengh be compromised?
thanks

How much do you think needs to be shaved? It looks like it's just barely touching it, or is there a lot of pressure on the shock?

I think you would be able to save a good amount of the bar without loosing much strength.

Is this a BFH mod Jimmy?

Otherwise you could cut/weld in new metal to make it hemispherical around the shock. So long as metal is still there I dont think strength would be compromised.

You can slide a piece of paper through one side, but on the other it is barely touching it.

Andy...That does sound like a solution, but I wouldn't realy want to take it somewhere to have custom work done. $$$

All you need is a plasma cutter, welder, and some time
