Default bolt-in vs. weld in sfc's?

I'm really getting overdue for putting subframe connectors on my car... I was almost set on going weld-in, until I saw several people running the bolt-ins just fine apparently. What kind of strength and performance issues would I be looking at by going the bolt in route... or are the two pretty much the same deal? I'm thinking it would be nice to be able to pull them out if I absolutely had to.

I'm sure the bolt-ons would be fine, The weld ins may be cheaper though

I have the SLP subframes. They are a bit bulky compared to the tubular versions but they really are nice. I can slap a jack anywhere along the subframe, drag them over speed bumps (done A LOT of time...), and they keep the car really stiff.

I do agree the welding (if your not worried about resell) is the only way to go. I bolted my SLPs on first and drive around for a while. Then I went back and welded them and it really made a difference.

Hey trackbird, where in Columbus are you? I've got family and my old roommate transferred to OSU so I go up there every now and again...

West side....not like it's a big place.

I was at Road Atlanta a year ago (or so) for a NASA American Iron race, I was handling crew chief duties for a friend....But I don't get down that way very much. If you are heading this way, drop me a line....
