Default Alignment

I got my car aligned today with the swaybar off, later someone told me that putting the swaybar back on would mess up the alignment. Is this true? He also seems to think having the swaybar off caused my tires to ware out faster.

THANK YOU

Default Re: Alignment

Putting the bar back on should have no impact on the alignment (except for the extra weight, which is not signifigant enough to have any real impact).

As for tire wear, if you are wearing the outside edges from cornering, the sway bar will help.
