Got G2 order in, have rod end question
I received my order today from LG (which I placed yesterday at noon!! sweet service), but had a question. I ordered a Single APHR, LCA Brackets, and a set of aluminum LCAs. I had read previously that the poly/heim was the one to order, but with the aluminum arms, it comes with dual heim ends (goregeous looking part, btw).
What are the advantages/disadvantages(if any) of having double adjustable LCA's?
Also, any tips on installing these components?
Thanks for your help guys. I have read your posts religously in the past two months and decided on these pieces to start out with. Your info has been very helpful.

Yup....the rear will be "bind free" (but slightly noisy....). Just set them to stock length (I use 3/8's extensions to line them up) and enjoy....(and set the jack under the axle and the stands under the chassis (in case you didn't get the updated instructions....).
Good luck!

Re: Got G2 order in, have rod end question
for anyone interested in this thread, I did some more searching and found something Trackbird (Kevin) had written in a previous thread.
"Rod/rod (or heim joints, spherical bearings, "race" control arms, rod ends...all the same thing) will allow the rear to "rotate" but may (some are better than others) transmit some noise to the interior of the car."
All I know is that the aluminum LCA's are sweet looking and are super light.
And cuz I know everybody is going to be jealous of this.... I will post the weight of the LCA's. I had to bust out my mom's food measurement scale, b/c they were too light for the regular scale to read...... drum-roll please.
EACH LCA: 22.3oz or 632grams. If I remember correctly, there are 16 oz in 1 lb, which means that the combined weight of both bars and heim joint ends is 2.79 lbs!!
Anyways...Props to LG!

They were $236/set, but I took advantage of the 15% sale and got them for 200. As for pictures, I dont' have a digicamera, but my friend does, so sometime later in the weekend I try and post pics. Maybe LG can post some pics sooner.
