Default adjusting phb

i was wondering where you take the measurement from when trying to center the rear end. want to do this before i get new rims on this friday 17x11 for the back.

Doing a search will find you some methods.

I taped line with a plumb-bob to the rear fenders over the wheel well and centered it (which came to 10 1/2" from the top of the molding in front of the wheel well). Once the line is steady take a tape measure and check the distance from the line to the center of the wheel. My rear is 1/4" to far to the driver or left side so I would have to bring it 1/8" back to the passenger or right side.

I have a UMI Poly/Rod PHB that is not "on car" adjustable so I am not really sure how I am going to make the adjustment.
