I'd like to increace the rotor size and get some nice aftermarker brakes. I'm running the stock 16" 5 spokes (1998) Do most of these upgrades require a new master cyl and does that affect the rears? What do they cost? I've found a couple I like, but the price is a bit out there. If I wanted to fab mounts, I can get some real nice circle track alum with 2 pistons per side, but its alot of work.

wheel size is an issue with your car.
If you want to keep the 16 inch rims, get new rotors, if needed, and Hawk pads.
If you swap to 17 inch wheels, consider a C5 rotor upgrade. This involves using rotors that are 1 inch larger. This requires new brake brackets that are sold by our sponsors ------>
This can be done using f-body calipers at a cost of <600 claims.
