Well I loved how the prokit looked it was just too low for my liking. What springs lower the car maybe 1/4" higher than prokit?

I had the same problem. I had them on a week, and pulled them off and put on a set of Vogtlands. Inexpensive and far better and less drop.

Hotchkis springs settle a little more than 1". Mine settle a little more than that. Not to much. But the ride is great paired with koni's.

I've had a few folks change from Hotchkis (which I also sell) to my springs and report the car rode better. Presumably because mine don't change rate as they compress and/or the spring does more work to slow the impact of the car on the bumpstops (and you do indeed touch the bumpstops with any spring). We know that the lightest rate isn't always the best because the LS1 Eibachs are pretty much the lightest, and tend to ride the worst.

There are lots of pics of cars with all kinds of springs, including Hotchkis and Strano. Use those to compare. In the end you can add what I said above to the fact mine also weight less too (15 pounds or so for the set) which is never a bad thing.

Shocks. Yes, I prefer to see a lowering springs used with a set of shocks that are appropriate, being that shocks are *spring dampers*. But mine don't work worse with stock shocks than other lowering springs do. In the end, both are a lower which leaves less travel for the shock to do it's damping in, and most all springs have more rate (normally at least 25% in front) than stock.

What shocks do you recommend for HOtchkis springs b/c i have a feeling my stock shocks could use some replacing. I also have a feeling my car would ride MUCH better with new shocks. My car went through the torture of eibach sportlines and my front shocks are currently KYB adjustable crap shocks, and yes they ride like crap on ANY setting. Advice would be great, thanks
PS- and yea i would liek an option for shocks that doesnt run me big money, just a budget setup that works well-wanted to clarify that alittle b/c i dont feel like spending that much on just shocks

You could also go to AUTOZONE or similar and get a larger isolator[rubber puck] than you have now...

I like the stance, and they are far superior to the Eibachs. I have KYBs on there and I dont like they way they handle, so right now, springs YES, KYBS NO.
