Poly or rod?
Yeh, at slow speeds the ride can feel a tad harsh and they can transmit noise you can hear.
The trade off is much better handling, reduced wheel hop and a more solid feel on cornering, braking and excelleration. For me, I'll take the increased performance of a rod end LCA, PHB and live with a minor inconvience that you will get used to and soon not notice.
One other consideration, rod ends are adjustable and some poly/poly LCA, PHBs are not. If you ever intend to lower your car, you will need an adjustable PHB.
