Default Poly or rod?

Is it worth getting poly poly LCA's or should I got poly rod? The car is pretty much stock Firehawk mostly street driven with occasional trips to the track. Same question for the panhard rod.
Thanks

If it's a street car stay poly.

poly poly would be a very bad choice.

A poly/rod end, however, would be much better since it allows the rod end to move in different directions as your rear differential flops on down the road.

On a street car I would recommend the poly/poly set-up. They offer a equal to factory ride quality, are grease-able and require less maintenance.

On the panhard, we recommend a rod end on one end. The noise issues are minimal to none since they do not take the same load as the control arms. The rod end allows the rear end to move more freely with out binding.

If you need anymore help please ask. We have some great prices on both pieces.

Thank you!
Ryan

I would get the poly/rod on both the panhard and lower control arms.

OK, so the rod/rod is the best for handling since the joints can move around as your suspension moves. Unfortunately, it can be noisy; right?

Anyway, I'm surprised about UMI's recommendation to go poly/poly.

What is your objective; handling, traction, road racing, 1/4 mile, street car? For example, I chose poly/rod since I want handling but I don't like too much noise over bumps.

Most LCA manufacturors discuss this in their catalog/web cite but it is good idea to ask anyway, I suppose.

I do feel a poly/poly set-up will be the best for a street car. Sometimes adding certain items that aren't needed are over kill. Polyurethane binds, yes, but I do not feel a street car will push the vehicle to make it a issue.

my car is a daily driver and does see some time at the 1320 and every manufacturer ive talked to recommended poly/poly

on a side note i find it funny that the people actually making the suspension recommend one thing and everyone else says no

Poly / Rod is what i went with... but i'm overly concerned with the thought of binding in a hard corner. Probably doesn't make all that much of a difference. If ride quality is your main concern, go with the Poly / Poly LCAs.

No complaints with my rod/rod. They do transfer a little gear noise through the cabin, but other than that I don't even notice that they are there.

Thanks for all of your input, I think I will lean towards what Ryan from UMI suggests, it kinda makes sense.
