That set-up will require you to remove some interior of your vehicle and drill 10-15 holes into the floor to bolt the plate, that model i also non-adjustable. I think the installation is the main reason not to many people use it.
We have a similar set-ups which are priced more but do not require any drilling and are a 100% bolt in.

Not very long. Basically get your car up on jack stands, a few bolts on your stock t/a comes out. Loosely put in your crossmember. Then slide you t/a onto the rear end and bolt it in then bolt it in at the crossmember. Tighten crossmember then set pinion angle. Took me about 2 hours but that was because I had to take breaks because it was 15 degrees outside and i kept loosing feeling in my hand

I run one and have no complaints. Install does take a bit longer because you do have to take interior components out. I didn't like the other tunnel mounted arms I had, they were way louder and had less ground clearance.

If you start to make some torque with that arm, this is what happens.
broken arm
I then switched out the arm for an Alston one.. I did not have to change my tunnel bracing, the alston arm was a direct replacement for the jegster.

I had one for a little while. I am suprised about the post above stating it was more quiet than some other options. Mine introduced a ton of vibration inside the car. And over time, mine bent as well.

I used it on my old car but i didnt use the floor bracket, we built a cross bar with adjustable brackets so that for one it didnt push on just the floor board and two we could easaly change pinion angle.

my friend down the street has one, hooks good enough to pack the the front wheels (stock ss wheels) a foot or so on a full weight car with 275/45/17 dr's. He has been very pleased with it, and no problems yet.

Even though I haven't tried the "tunnel mount" deal myself, I agree. I would find it hard to think something as thin as the floorpan would hold up to the rotational torque of the rear axle. The geometry might be theoretically correct, but I think that the structure isn't sound enough. In other words, GM didn't design the floorpan for that kind of load.

What's the deal with that torque arm having a rod slider inside it? I wouldn't want that thing binding up. Also wouldn't having that slider let the pinion move up and down a lot?

mine works great with no noise at all really. Im not gonna be making huge torque numbers so I doubt it will deform from power haha It was a pain to install compared to others though,Id like to stitch a weld around the edge since the noise I do get seems to be from the tunnel plate shifting while cornering.
I have noticed any binding and Ive run it hard into corners. Braking is fine but not as smooth as stock was.
