Default Prothane front swaybar endlinks question

Is anyone using these? I just brought them from Thunder and put them in last weekend. Here's the thing, the spacer in the middle is roughly 1/2" longer or so than the stock one was. So in order to fit the spacers with the poly bushings between the sway bar and front suspension, I had to jack the car up a bit and bolt them in, whereas the stock piece I could just slide the spacer in between the two and thread the bolt. I can't tell by eye that the ride height is any higher, and there doesn't seem to be any problems or excessive noise. So has anyone had any experience with this? Did I possibly get the wrong endlinks, or is this how it works? Do I need to cut the spacers down? Thanks!

THe spacer should keep the sway bar parallel to the ground when the car is sitting, Lowered cars often need shorter end links....

The car is stock ride height, but it looks like the endlinks might have lifted the front a hair from where it was...I'll have to get under her again and see how parallel the sway bar is, thanks for the advice.
