Default Where do I get the kit to eliminate ABS?

I was told the other night that I can buy a kit that will elimnate everything that has to do with the ABS and save me some weight. Where do I get it and do any ABS lights appear ( I am sure they do) and if so how do you delete them? Thanks

Some lights will turn on and there are no other choices then either removed the LED's from the unit or use the black tape method.

You can either go and buy some tubing, flare tool and adapters and do it yourself or you can get some delete kit form SJM. Your choice.

How hard is it to remove the cluster and unplug the lights?

It takes about an hour to get to the instrument panel. You essentially need one wrench/socket to remove the screws.

Some can ground out a few of the lamp feeds to shut off the lights without even going into your dash with years 93-98.

Regarding is the kit worth it? You could try to build one yourself...modifying your own car is sometimes self-gratifying. Just about every item you see on the boards here a person could make. Regarding our kits, if you were to purchase all the pieces yourself, the lines, adjustable wilwood valve, all the fittings etc etc...most would find it is not worth the time. The idea of a kit or any manufactures component available is to offer a solution for the end user.

I've had this asked before...For clarification and comparison to the above kit our kit differs quite a bit:

Our kits:
1) Our kit ompletely removes ABS modulator AND bracket, we do not use a block which only connects lines together.
a) This eliminates as much mass as posible.
b) Creates better air flow for engine bay.
c) Gives user more room for supercharger/turbo configurations.

2) Ours includes proportioning valve in every kit.
a) Without a valve, you have no brake bias adjustment. Your ABS used to control this. When you remove ABS, you have about as much likelyhood of being hit by lightening that your brake front/rear bias is balanced.

3) Our kits comes with preformed lines and fittings needed for install.

4) Our kit enables user to remove existing braided lines.
a) braided lines left in a system will expand to a greater degree vs. hard lines. Expansion in lines lead to lower braking reaction.

5) Our basic kits start at 139.99. This includes all preformed lines with nesessary flared ends, proportioning valve and all fittings needed. For 40.00 more, you'll receive a biondo style line lock solenoid with electrical kit. The electrical kit consits of wire, master switch, control switch, remote LED, electrical connectors...even down to the firewall grommet. Add 20.00 more if you do not have a double flare tool.

I was thinking this morning about it and I think I am going to get the kit you described there SJM with the Line Lock because with a M6 car it would make getting heat in the tires alot easier. I will let you know as soon as I am ready to order it.
