How to know? - 1LE Package Hey guys,
I have to replace a front tab bushing, so I'll order a full poly set, up to that point. I called my dealer and he asked me if I had the 1LE suspension package, because theres a diffrence in the size of the Sway bars, 32mm instead of 25mm, or so. The car is stored for the winter so I can't get under and measure. Anyone has an idea how to know if we have it? Is there a code on the VIN ? If you know other stuffs bout that 1LE, I'd appreciate the tip.

are you basically asking what size sway bars you have?
it looks like you have a trans am by looking at your avatar. Is your car a real Ws6? Ws6's and SS's came with a front 32mm Sway bar. Basic Trans Am's and Z28's came with a front 30mm sway bar

It is a Formula 1998, M6. So that's why I have been asking. But I guess i'll have to go take off the car cover and check on the door sticker or on the one inside the glovebox for that code. So if it's not there, I'll have the standard bars, right?

Correct. I'll 99% sure you don't have a 1LE though. The only Firebird to get the 1LE package were WS6 cars (both Formula and Trans Am). Not all WS6 are 1LE, but all 1LE are WS6.

Easy way to tell if your car is 1LE besides looing at the sticker on the door is answer this question. Do you have Power windows, locks, Mirrors and the Monsoon CD ? cause if you do have these options It's NOT A 1LE.
1LE Firebirds have No power options and are only available as a Formula M6.

Yeah I have power all stuffs with the Monsoon Radio; even if it's a M6, with your says, it's not a 1LE. I'll still look just for confirmation in case of the exception rule, but I'll assume it's not a 1LE.
