Default stranos swaybar and 9"

im shopping for a 9" moser rear right now and am curious if stranos bar will work with it or not? i was going to have swaybar brackets welded on to handle the stock bar or is there a different location that works better?

Sam would be the man to ask but I know Bob at EPP saysn he uses a 3'' U mufler hanger and the stock mounting hardware, whaterver you call it underneath. So this is what I was going to do b/c I don't want a big *** rear sway bar like th BMR b/c its mostly a street car and don't think it would be that friendly other than the track. Plus it costs more than strano front and rear bars!

well, id preferr to get the brackets welded on from who im ordering the rear from. im then going to have it powder coated locally. id hate to powerder coat it and then dig in some muffler clamps around it.

My bar fits in place of a stock GM rear. If a GM rear bar will fit your 9", then so will mine. If you need a "adapter kit" of some sort to fit a GM bar to your axle, my bar would need that as well.

Ya I hear ya about digging in on your nice new powdercoat just never thought about it that much. Have allot on my mind. I was looking into a midwest custom rear and the base options include stock like swaybar mounts with no extra charge. Along with that the lower LCA brackets, t/a and applicable xmember, etc, etc. You be surprised and should look into that. I think that is where I will be going along with sams springs, bars, and 4/3 konis
